SUCCULENT PLANT
Care Tips
Difficulty Level: Beginner-Friendly π±πΆ
π§ Water: Succulent prefers to be watered sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's important to avoid keeping the soil too moist, especially in hot climates like the Philippines. Water thoroughly and deeply, but infrequently, and adjust watering frequency based on the temperature and humidity levels in your area.
βοΈ Sun: Succulents loves bright sunlight! It requires at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight per day to thrive. However, in hot climates, it's important to provide some protection from intense afternoon sun to prevent leaf burn. You can use a shade net or UV sheet to provide additional protection during the hottest part of the day.
π‘οΈ Temperature: Succulents can tolerate hot temperatures ranging from 25-35Β°C (77-95Β°F), which makes it well-suited for the hot climate of the Philippines. However, it's important to provide some shade or protection during the hottest part of the day to prevent leaf burn. Avoid placing it in drafty areas or exposed to extreme temperatures, as it prefers a stable environment.
π± Soil: We recommend using well-draining soil mix specifically formulated for cacti and succulents, such as Cultured Soil for Cacti and Succulents. This helps prevent root rot and provides the right balance of nutrients for optimal growth.
π Fertilizer: Use a balanced fertilizer, such as Osmocote 15-9-12 and Nutri+ Liquid Plant Booster by Plant Culture PH, during the active growing season (typically spring and summer) to provide essential nutrients for healthy growth and vibrant blooms. Follow the recommended dosage on the packaging for best results.
π Fungicide: During the hot and humid seasons, protect your Succulents from fungal diseases with Fungifight Organic Powder Fungicide by Plant Culture PH. Apply as directed on the packaging to keep your plant healthy and disease-free.
π Pest Control: Keep pests at bay with Nutri+ Organic Neem Oil by Plant Culture PH, a natural and effective solution for controlling common succulent pests such as mealybugs and aphids. Follow the instructions on the packaging for safe and effective pest control.
By following these care recommendations and using the suggested products, you can help ensure that your Plant Succulent thrives and remains healthy and beautiful.
